Is Italy crazy? Yes

I can't belive. I don't write anything in my blog since one month and in Italy
everything happens.

Alitalia is bankrupt. Licio Gelli, italian misterious Cia-long hand, starts a TV show on italian history and say that his old member, Berlusconi, will complete his program to "renew" italian democracy.

What the hell, students are protesting against Education reform, finally a change in Italy seems possible.

Yes, we can send berlusconi to pension.

Italy and Spain, transparency ranking

See the world ranking on transparency, a corruption indicator:

Country
Rank

1 Finland

23 Spain

45 Italy

Italy is less corrupted than Belize or Cuba but one of the coutries of western europe more corrupted.

Spain, very similar to Italy, is 22 positions upper. Government should stop thinking about immigrants and fight seriously mafia, the first multinational company in Italy, from the north to the south.

Obama-Mc Cain, middle-class suffer again

Millions of american families lost their houses because they cannot afford to pay the debts. When middle-class face a crisis is not a real crise for our politicians.

If big corporations burn billions of dollars in one click, one persone even more rich. Many others lose their job. But there is a difference, here the Congress approve a plan to save this big corporation. I think that USA needs a deep introspective analysis on what USA means in the 21th century.

Gheddafi's point of view: The Green Book (Libro Verde)

Gheddafi is an interesting leader. You can see him as a dictator, an alternative leader, a marketing product for arab countries, or you can love him.

(This car was a great Gheddafi invention to celebrate 30 years of revolution, I'm sure everyone in Libia can buy it)

I read "The green book" and i like some parts of his view of the society.
For example Gheddafi wrote in the seventies that people that don't own an house, are not free. I agree with him. We are all slave of a debt with our bank to buy an house.
Gheddafi has a camping tend, that could be an option.

Please read and comment this from the Green Book:

"WHO SUPERVISES THE CONDUCT OF SOCIETY?

The question that arises is: who preserves the society from any deviation from the law? Democratically, there is no group whatever that can claim the right of representative supervision over the society. 'Society is its own supervisor.' Any pretension by any individual or group that it is responsible for law is dictatorship."

Bolivian crisis: the battle of energy

Bolivia is one of the poorest countries in Latin America, suffered several "golpe" and militar power for dacades. Che Guevara found his death in Bolivia trying to help millions of indios still slaved at 1-2 dollars/day.

Evo Morales nationalized Gas/Oil bolivian resources to finance a “Renta Dignidad” plan, basically an elderly pension scheme for people older than 65.

In a US point of view it could be seen as a communist attitude, thanks to a Chicago boys neoliberism philosophy.

I dont's see any problem on nationalize a company. Federal Reserve nationalized one of the biggest insurance companies. This is accepted by the international public opinion.

But not for Bolivia, very sorry. I hope that bolivian disorders will end shortely.
